Social sensitivity – for many a noble feature, for others: the synonym of tormenting. For me it means that I can spot a human in every person I meet. With his feelings, dreams and right for happiness. Once my path was crossed by a very wise Someone, who has showed me the right direction and has taken my hand when I couldn’t have gone any further. Today I’m standing here – thankful and determined, ready to support the attendants of dependent people and people who are socially neglected. My personal experience gave me the power to channel the aid in crisis and reprieve in everyday struggle. I’m doing my best  to help them with making a new world of old, broken pieces. Someone gave me understanding and support. I’m giving it back to others. Really simple arithmetic of good.

For many years I’ve learnt how to help effectively, how to come along and how to be a spokesman of all who can’t fight for themselves. My inspiration are good people, who I’m lucky to meet.

I believe the world is like a bench where everybody finds a space to sit. We only need the stronger ones to move a little and make some room for others. I know it works!

Monika is deaf. She’s a mother of two adults. For twenty years she has worked in cleaning service – in hard conditions and underemployed. In her previous workplace she couldn’t count on decent treatment. Disabled people usually get only the easiest and underpaid jobs. For Monika we found the excellent employer – MCC Medale. The company hire employees with offering them labor contract. Monika works now in a safe place, calmly, among friendly people. She paints medals. The medals which one day may be the prize for winners. They won’t know how special person made them for them. The person who decided to fight for herself and is winning every day. We know it. And we support her.
